The Mission of our Parish is to reach out into the community and show by example the care and understanding that God’s love brings.
St Laurence’s Church, Adwick-le-Street has received £99,950 from the Heritage Lottery Fund (HLF) for our exciting project, “Unlocking the treasures of St Laurence”. Supported by a team of volunteers from the local community, the project focuses on four characters who span 500 years history and the living heritage of local people today. The project was opened by the Bishop of Sheffield, Rt Revd Steven Croft on the Day of Commemoration of Richard Rolle.
